When I spent the holidays in New York with my sister, I got to try some delicious meat pies from DUB Pies. So I was inspired to make a meat pie of my own.
I wanted to make a shepherd's pie meat pie and we were all set to go. The pie crust was rolled out, the potatoes mashed, the corn and peas cooked.
However, the ground beef we had bought had gone bad, and so we were faced with a dilemma. Do we make a vegetarian meat pie?
The only other meat we had in our fridge was chorizo. For some crazy reason Davneet thought it would taste weird. But we used it anyway.
It was pretty good.
